The compact RMI 422 P iMow robotic lawn mower is perfectly suited for small to medium sized lawns. It is fully automated, and once the iMow is installed it will mow, charge and adapt its schedule all by itself. Thanks to an efficient mulching blade the lawn will look lush and green without ever having to dispose of the grass clippings. Equipped with a powerful battery, the RMI 422 P can manage lawns up to 1,500 m², gradients up to 40% and is designed to do all this in the shortest time possible, allowing you full access to your garden when you want it. The RMI 422 P comes with a 5 year extended domestic warranty (subject to registration and annual servicing). The Stihl iMow robotic mowers comply with all applicable safety standards.
Bright LCD display – The high-contrast, large LCD display is easy to read even in sunlight, and the control panel is integrated into the housing of the Stihl iMow robotic mower.
Movable hood – with sensors to protect the Stihl iMow robotic mower from weather and obstacles. If the iMow comes up against an obstacle during automatic mowing the integrated sensors ensure it changes direction.
All-round protection – The iMow is equipped with various sensors. As soon as someone attempts to pick it up while mowing, it stops. It can also be protected with a PIN code to prevent any unauthorised use.
Standard equipment – Standard equipment includes the machine, the docking station with four pegs for securing it to the ground and an iMow ruler as an aid for laying the perimeter wire. An installation kit is also required.
Docking Station – The robotic lawn mower is guided by the signal transmitted by the perimeter wire at the edge of the lawn which is fed via the docking station. Thanks to its intelligent charging system, the iMOW® decides independently whether a fast charge is necessary due to another imminent mowing operation or whether the battery should be charged in an energy-saving mode. The docking station can be placed within or outside the lawn area.
Mulching Mowing Deck – The sturdy mulching blade ensures a precise cutting pattern even on higher grass growth. Its rotational direction changes automatically every time the blade stops, for even wear. The blade can be changed without the need for tools.
Offset drive home – By default, the iMOW® travels back home to the docking station along the perimeter wire. If required, and depending on the condition of the edge of the mowing area, the iMOW® can also travel to its docking station with an alternating offset to the perimeter wire.
Control panel – The control panel with integrated and bright display for easy setup is flush-mounted in the housing of the mower.
iMOW Robotic Mower Drive – enables the iMOW to mow hilly terrain with consistently high quality. The RMI 422 can handle gradients of up to 35%, while the other automatic lawn mowers from the RMI 4 series can cope with a gradient of up to 40%.
Adaptive slope speed – allows the robotic mower to adapt its speed on uneven terrain. The integrated tilt sensor constantly analyses the position and adapts its speed accordingly.
Dynamic mowing plan – The dynamic mowing plan can be called up and amended via the control panel. It allows individual time windows to be defined during which the machine can be in operation each day. If mowing is interrupted due to rain it automatically catches up later within the specified time window.
Wheels with traction pattern – The smooth-running wheels with traction pattern ensure that the robotic mower moves with precision on hilly lawns with a slight gradient of up to 40% and denser grass growth. The treaded wheels are self-cleaning.
