Powerful Cordless Performance – The Stihl HTA 86 combines strong cutting performance with the convenience of cordless power. Its efficient EC motor provides consistent power throughout the battery charge. Thanks to Stihl’s CONSTANT POWER, the tool maintains its performance as the battery charge decreases. As a result, you can work efficiently without a noticeable drop in power. The HTA 86 is recommended for use with the Stihl AP 200 P battery (not included). With this in mind, you can expect a working time of around 54 minutes.

Precise Cutting at Height – The HTA 86 features a ¼” PM3 saw chain for clean and precise cuts. Its rigid shaft also helps you guide the cutting head accurately. As a result, this makes the pole pruner ideal for removing dead branches and cutting back fruit trees. It can also help clear branches damaged by strong winds and storms.

Adjustable Telescopic Shaft – The square telescopic shaft provides a total length of 270–390cm. So, you can reach higher branches without using a ladder in many situations. The quick-release twist-lock clamp makes adjustments quick and simple. Simply twist the clamp to unlock the shaft. Once adjusted, set the required length and twist it again to lock it securely.

Simple and Safe Starting – Starting the HTA 86 is quick and straightforward. Release the locking switch and then use the trigger to start the tool. An additional ERGO lever allows continuous operation without repeatedly restarting the tool. Furthermore, the self-resetting locking switch also helps prevent accidental activation. The controls work for both left-handed and right-handed users. So, the HTA 86 is easy to operate for a wide range of users.
