Compared to its predecessor (MSA 160 T), the MSA 161 T boasts 40% faster chain speed and 15% more motor performance, making it one of Stihl’s most efficient cordless arborist saws. The ” P low-profile chain ensures a clean, accurate finish with reduced chain chatter, while the EC motor provides constant power output from full to empty charge.

Designed with safety and ergonomics in mind, it includes a trigger side-lock button, large throttle interlock lever, carrying ring for climbing, and soft grip handle for secure handling even in wet conditions.

Powered by the Stihl AP System, this tool is IPX4-rated for all-weather use and offers up to 42 minutes of runtime with the recommended AP 200 S battery* (other compatible batteries include AP 300 S and AP 500 S). Quiet operation allows for early starts in noise-sensitive areas no ear defenders required.
