The Stihl FSA 30 is a lightweight, battery-powered grass trimmer designed for precise trimming and edging in smaller home gardens. Perfect for maintaining lawn edges, tidying around trees, flower beds, garden steps and walls, it offers quiet, cordless convenience and excellent manoeuvrability for everyday garden tasks.

Part of the Stihl AS System, the FSA 30 runs on a removable AS 2 lithium-ion battery, which is also compatible with other tools in the range, such as the HSA 26 shrub shears and HSA 30 hedge trimmer. This set includes the battery and AL 1 charger, so you’re ready to go straight out of the box.

Designed for comfort, the FSA 30 features an adjustable shaft, pivoting loop handle, and tilting cutting head (up to 90°), making it easy to adapt for edging work or for users of different heights. The PolyCut 3-2 mowing head comes as standard, using two durable polymer blades that can be replaced quickly without tools. You also have the option to switch to the AutoCut 3-2 mowing head for trimming with line instead of blades.

On a full charge, the FSA 30 provides up to 19 minutes of run time with the PolyCut head, or up to 10 minutes with the AutoCut head. An easy-to-read charge indicator on the side keeps you informed while you work.
