Description

The FSA 86 R is a powerful cordless grass trimmer for trimming around obstacles and for mowing larger areas of lawn.

The 350mm cutting diameter means you can get the job done in no time, whilst the variable speed gives you precise control whenever you need it, so you can slow it down for more intricate jobs, such as mowing in smaller spaces and around bushes and trees.

The FSA 86 R is so quiet to use, you won’t even need to wear ear defenders either so you certainly won’t annoy the neighbours.

It’s also very simple to extend the mowing line from the AutoCut C 6-2 mowing head – just bump it on the ground and the mowing line automatically extends. You can also fit the PolyCut 6-2 mowing head to this grass trimmer, which uses polymer blades instead of mowing line.

The FSA 86 R is part of our AP System of battery-powered tools, with interchangeable batteries – it is not compatible with AK System of cordless tools and batteries.

Interchangeable cutting tools – The cutting tools can be changed easily by hand without the need for tools. You can fit either the AutoCut C 6-2, PolyCut 6-2 or DuroCut 5-2 to the FSA 86 R.

Battery slot – The AP batteries can be inserted directly into the battery slot in the motor housing. This makes working even more mobile and flexible.

Smart Connector – The device is compatible with the Smart Connector 1.0 and can be easily integrated into STIHL connected.

Ergonomic control handle – The FSA 86 R has a locking lever (orange front), ERGO lever (black) and main trigger lever (orange below). The locking lever is self-resetting and prevents unintentional switching on of the device. When the ERGO lever and shift lever are pressed, you can work continuously with ease.

Spacer bracket – The spacer bracket protects your mowing head from damage. It can also protect plants from being damaged by the mowing head during use.

Loop handle – The comfortable all-round handle ensures great freedom of movement and easy handling, even in more confined spaces.

Stihl EC-motor – The Stihl brushless electric motor (EC) is very energy efficient and practically maintenance free. Thanks to its outstanding efficiency, the battery power is directly translated into impressive performance. During operation, the electronically controlled EC motor permanently monitors the load and adjusts the engine accordingly.
