Description

Ideal for professional work on high hedges and use near the ground. Reduced-weight transmission, 2-MIX engine with ECOSPEED for speed control when working for long periods in noise-sensitive areas, STIHL ErgoStart, cutter bar adjustable by 145″. Total length: 242 cm.

STIHL 2-MIX-Engine – combines low consumption and emissions with low weight and excellent acceleration.

STIHL ErgoStart (E) – allows the starter cord to be pulled at just one third of the normal force. All it takes is 2 fingers and a gentle pull action.

STIHL Ecospeed – allows for a more economical operating mode so that you can reduce fuel consumption and work much longer on one tank. Simply turn the wheel to the minus direction to reduce the maximum engine speed and keep your machine running at partial load. You can easily shift to full capacity again by pressing the throttle lever.

Blade system – double-sided cutting blades ensure a powerful and precise cut even through thicker branches.

Quick-release adjustment system – the cutter bar can be adjusted in increments up to 145″ in two directions. To save space, the cutter bar can be folded parallel to the shaft, and locked, for transport.

Loop handle – gives you maximum flexibility and easy operation even in confined working conditions.

Clip – the clip for the belt is rotatable, making the tool easier to manoeuvre.

Manual fuel pump (purger) – a small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting pulls required following extended breaks in operations.

Shoulder strap / carrying system – using a STIHL shoulder strap with soft padding makes work more comfortable during lengthy jobs.
