The Stihl RMA 243 is a battery-powered push-along lawnmower designed for those looking to maintain small to medium-sized lawns with ease. Built with a durable sheet steel deck, the RMA 243 features a 41cm/16″ cutting width and a single-point height adjustment that can be set between 20 and 100 mm. Powered by the AK 20 battery from Stihl’s AK System range of tools, it offers the convenience of interchangeable batteries across other machines in the range. The mower’s powerhead includes two slots, allowing you to conveniently swap to a second battery when the first runs out. On a full charge with the AK 20 battery, the RMA 243 can easily handle lawns up to 230 m².

This versatile mower offers four mowing options to suit your needs:

• Cut and collect with the grass catcher box attached
• Cut and drop by removing the grass catcher box
• Side discharge with an integrated flap into the deck
• Mulch with the included multi-blade and mulching attachment.
