The Stihl MS 194 T Petrol Chainsaw is a powerful and lightweight top-handle chainsaw for professional arborists. It sits between the MS 151 TC-E and MS 201 TC-E in the Stihl range. As a result, it offers an excellent balance of power and weight. It is light enough for pruning, yet powerful enough for more demanding tree work. The 31.8cc 2-MIX engine delivers 1.4kW of power and 1.5Nm of torque. It also comes with a 12″/30cm guide bar and ¼” P chain for fast and precise cutting.
Powerful 31.8cc 2-MIX Engine – The Stihl MS 194 T features a powerful 31.8cc 2-MIX engine. It delivers strong performance whilst helping to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. Thanks to Stihl’s four-channel technology, the engine uses fuel efficiently. In addition, the 2-MIX engine requires little maintenance and complies with EU Stage V emissions requirements.
Ideal for Professional Tree Work – The MS 194 T is suitable for a wide range of arborist tasks. It is ideal for deadwood removal, crown lifts and reductions. It can also handle medium-sized tree removals making it a versatile solution for professional tree work. The ¼” P chain provides fast and precise cutting performance. Combined with the 12″/30cm guide bar, it offers a good balance of reach and manoeuvrability.
Comfortable Handling – The MS 194 T features an anti-vibration system that reduces vibration reaching the handles. As a result, it is more comfortable to use during longer jobs. The Stihl ElastoStart system also helps provide smoother starting by reducing the shock caused by engine compression.
Simple Maintenance – The side-mounted chain tensioning makes chain adjustments quick and easy. The sprocket cover also features captive nuts, so they cannot fall away when removed. The manual fuel pump helps reduce the number of pulls needed to start the saw and the tool-free fuel and oil caps make refilling simple.
Practical Arborist Features – The fold-out hook allows you to attach the chainsaw to a suspension rope. This makes it easier to raise or lower the saw when working in trees. The chain guard also attaches securely to the sprocket cover. In addition, the carburettor compensator helps maintain engine performance as the air filter becomes dirty.
