The tool is simple to maintain with side-mounted chain tensioning, automatic chain oiling, and a tool-free oil tank that lasts through several battery cycles.

Designed for safety and convenience
The claw-shaped deflector helps keep your hands protected by separating the grip area from the chain. The double-sided rocker switch makes it suitable for both right- and left-handed users.

You can hang the GTA 40 from your belt using the built-in attachment ring, or pair it with the optional Stihl holster for quick access during work.

Battery use and charge display
The GTA 40 uses two batteries at once and cannot operate with only one. A clear charge-level indicator on the top of the tool keeps you informed while you work.
