The Stihl MSA 160 C-B cordless chainsaw is a lightweight and powerful battery chainsaw designed for everyday maintenance tasks. With its 12″/30cm guide bar, it is ideal for pruning branches, cutting firewood and processing wood around your property. It can also handle small tree felling up to around 20cm in diameter. Powered by a 36V lithium-ion battery, the MSA 160 C-B delivers consistent cutting performance without the noise and emissions of a petrol chainsaw. As a result, it is particularly useful in noise-sensitive areas. The recommended ALLPRO AP 200 P battery (not included) provides around 39 minutes of working time.
Powerful & Precise Cordless Cutting – The MSA 160 C-B features Stihl CONSTANT POWER, which helps maintain consistent performance as the battery charge decreases. The ¼” PM3 saw chain provides clean cuts and impressive cutting performance, while the variable-speed trigger gives you precise control over the chain speed. The Stihl Quick Chain Tensioning system also makes chain adjustment quick and easy. You can tension the chain using the adjustment wheel without additional tools. Meanwhile, the transparent oil tank makes it simple to check the chain oil level at a glance.
Comfortable & Easy to Use – The ergonomic control handle provides excellent comfort and control across different cutting angles. Soft grip components also improve handling, particularly when working in wet conditions. In addition, the safety unlock button helps prevent accidental starting during transport or maintenance. The MSA 160 C-B has an IPX4 rating, providing protection against splash water from all sides. Its compact design, low weight and efficient EC motor also make it comfortable to use for a range of domestic and property maintenance tasks.
