Description

The Stihl HTA 30 Telescopic Cordless Pole Saw is a compact and lightweight tool for pruning high branches, removing dead wood and maintaining trees and hedges. It is the first pole pruner in the Stihl AS System and offers convenient cordless performance for everyday garden maintenance.

Powered by two interchangeable Stihl AS 2 lithium-ion batteries, the HTA 30 provides excellent freedom of movement without cables or petrol emissions. What’s more, the batteries are compatible with other tools in the Stihl AS System, including leaf blowers, grass trimmers, hedge trimmers and garden pruners.

Telescopic Shaft for Extended Reach – The HTA 30 features a tool-free telescopic shaft that extends to a maximum length of 280cm. This gives you the reach needed to prune higher branches and maintain taller trees and shrubs from the ground. When you have finished working, you can shorten the shaft to approximately 190cm. Therefore, the pole saw is easier to transport and store.

Precise Cutting Performance – The Stihl HTA 30 comes fitted with a 20cm Stihl Light 01 guide bar and a ¼” PM3 saw chain. This combination delivers clean, precise cuts on branches up to 17cm in diameter. The compact cutting head also provides a clear view of the guide bar. As a result, you can position the saw accurately and manoeuvre more easily in tighter spaces.

Quick and Easy Chain Tensioning – The HTA 30 features a convenient spring-loaded chain tensioning mechanism. Simply fold out the handle and rotate the sprocket cover to adjust the chain tension without additional tools. In addition, the sprocket cover can be removed easily for cleaning and maintenance. The transparent chain oil tank also makes it simple to check the oil level, helping you keep the chain properly lubricated.

Please note: Chain oil is not supplied with this product. You must add suitable chain oil before using the pole saw.

Lightweight and Comfortable to Use – Weighing just 3.6kg, the HTA 30 is easy to handle during pruning and garden maintenance. Its soft-grip handle provides a comfortable, secure hold, while the balanced design helps reduce fatigue. What’s more, the HTA 30 operates with low noise and vibration. This makes it suitable for quieter residential areas and helps you work comfortably without the noise levels associated with petrol-powered equipment.

Interchangeable AS System Batteries – The HTA 30 is powered by two Stihl AS 2 batteries, giving you up to 28 minutes of working time or approximately 140 cuts. The batteries can also be used with other compatible Stihl AS System tools. Therefore, you can share your batteries across your cordless garden equipment. A built-in LED charge indicator lets you check the remaining battery power at a glance. This helps you plan your work and know when it’s time to recharge.
