The Stihl HTA 100 Cordless Pole Saw is a lightweight, powerful battery-powered pole pruner designed for professional tree maintenance. It is ideal for forestry, landscaping, orchards and garden maintenance, making it a versatile choice for demanding pruning work.

Powered by the Stihl AP/ALLPRO battery system, the HTA 100 delivers high cutting performance with low noise emissions. As a result, it is particularly suitable for use in residential areas and noise-sensitive locations such as schools, hospitals and housing estates.

Powerful Professional Cutting Performance – The HTA 100 features a highly efficient brushless EC motor that delivers strong, consistent cutting performance. Thanks to Stihl CONSTANT POWER, the motor maintains its output as the battery charge decreases. Furthermore, the advanced electronics also support Stihl POWER BOOST technology when used with compatible batteries. This helps deliver maximum available power for demanding cutting tasks whilst protecting battery life. With a fixed 182cm shaft, the HTA 100 provides excellent reach for pruning, thinning and general tree maintenance. In addition, it can handle branches up to 20cm in diameter, making it suitable for a wide range of professional applications.

Improved Cutting Visibility and Control – The HTA 100 features a newly designed gearbox that improves visibility around the cutting area. Consequently, this helps you position the guide bar accurately and maintain better control when working at height. In addition, the raised direction guide on the sprocket cover makes it easier to judge the cutting direction. The lightweight cutting head also helps you manoeuvre between branches and position the saw for each cut.

Lightweight and Comfortable to Handle – The HTA 100 combines a lightweight design with a robust construction. Its magnesium gearbox helps reduce weight without compromising durability, making it suitable for regular professional use. The comfortable grip sleeve provides a secure hold, while the well-balanced design helps reduce strain during extended working periods. What’s more, the controls are designed for convenient operation. The locking switch and trigger provide straightforward starting, while the additional ERGO lever allows continuous operation without repeatedly restarting the tool.

Efficient Motor and Battery Performance – The brushless EC motor combines efficient energy use with a long service life and low maintenance requirements. The HTA 100 is recommended for use with the Stihl AP 200 P battery. This provides approximately 42 minutes of working time, or around 260 cuts through 10 x 10cm timber. Actual working time will vary depending on the material, cutting conditions and battery used.

Easy Maintenance and Chain Tensioning – The HTA 100 features side-mounted chain tensioning, allowing you to adjust the chain quickly and safely. The tensioning screw sits on the side of the sprocket cover, making it easier to access. The transparent chain oil tank also allows you to check the oil level at a glance. This helps you monitor lubrication and keep the saw chain working efficiently.

Please note: Chain oil is not supplied with this product. You must purchase suitable chain oil and fill the tank before use.
