The Stihl HTA 140 B Cordless Telescopic Pole Saw is a powerful, professional battery-powered pole pruner designed for forestry, landscaping and orchard maintenance. Its telescopic design also makes it ideal for pruning high branches and carrying out general tree maintenance.

Powered by lithium-ion batteries from the Stihl AP/ALLPRO battery system, the HTA 140 B combines high cutting performance with low noise emissions. This makes it suitable for use in noise-sensitive areas such as schools, hospitals and residential locations. The tool-free telescopic shaft adjusts from 285cm to 405cm, providing excellent reach when pruning, thinning and maintaining branches up to 20cm in diameter. In addition, its lightweight cutting head makes it easier to manoeuvre between cuts.

For example, reducing the power can help when making precise cuts in confined spaces or working in noise-sensitive areas. When conditions allow, you can use the full power for faster cutting.

Adjustable Telescopic Shaft – The telescopic shaft adjusts from 285cm to 405cm, allowing you to reach high branches whilst working safely from the ground. This makes the HTA 140 B a practical choice for professional pruning, thinning and tree maintenance. Its adjustable reach also provides greater flexibility when working at different heights. In addition, the lightweight cutting head helps you move between branches with less effort.

Versatile Saw Chain Options – The HTA 140 B comes fitted with a 3/8″ P Picco Micro 3 (PM3) saw chain as standard, providing effective cutting performance for general tree maintenance. Alternatively, you can fit a ¼” P Picco Micro 3 (PM3) saw chain. This finer chain is particularly useful for more precise pruning work, including the maintenance of fruit trees. The raised direction guide integrated into the sprocket cover helps you position the cutting head accurately. Furthermore, the sturdy branch hook allows you to grip and remove loose cuttings from height.

Comfortable and Easy to Control – The Stihl HTA 140 B is designed to support comfortable operation during demanding professional work. Its balanced battery position helps reduce tilting torque, while the comfortable grip sleeve provides a secure hold. The control handle features an integrated LED display, giving you convenient control of the pole pruner. You can also attach a suitable harness using the suspension eye or hanger strip to improve comfort during longer working sessions.
