Smart, wire-free, and built for precision – the Husqvarna Automower® 405XE NERA is ideal for lawns up to 600 m². With optional EPOS™ technology for virtual boundary setup, full app control including Zone Control, and seamless smart home integration, it delivers effortless, accurate mowing from start to finish.
This model offers two installation options: a traditional wired setup with a physical boundary wire, or a wire-free installation using advanced satellite-based EPOS™ technology.
For wired installation, you’ll need an installation kit containing the boundary wire and stakes. Please see our full range of Installation Kits here: INSTALLATION KITS
For wire-free (EPOS™) installation, you’ll need the EPOS™ plug-in accessory. In some gardens, you may also require an EPOS™ reference station – this is typically needed where mobile signal or Wi-Fi coverage is weak or unavailable. Please see our Reference Stations here: REFERENCE STATIONS
Please note: If you choose the wire-free EPOS™ setup, we’ll need to update your Automower® to enable EPOS™ plug-in compatibility. This may add a few extra days to dispatch times. Please call us if you are unsure of what to order.
The Husqvarna Automower® 405XE NERA is a cutting-edge robotic lawn mower designed for lawns up to 600 m². With its advanced technology, it offers a wire-free installation option, allowing for flexible and precise lawn maintenance without the need for physical boundary wires. Equipped with GPS-assisted navigation and smart connectivity features, the 405XE NERA ensures efficient mowing patterns and easy control via the Automower® Connect app. Its compact design and quiet operation make it an ideal choice for maintaining a pristine lawn with minimal effort.
In order to have the boundary wire free solution you need a Husqvarna Automower® 405XE NERA robotic mower and a Husqvarna EPOS™ Plug-in, which needs to be attached to the mower as part of the installation process. The correction data for the satellite technology is provided via the Husqvarna Cloud at no additional cost. If you do not have cellular or Wi-Fi coverage across your full lawn area then you will need to purchase the EPOS™ RS1 Reference Station. The Automower® Connect app is also required to create a virtual installation.
