Description

The Stihl RLA 240 Cordless Scarifier is ideal for scarifying and dethatching smaller, uneven lawns. Part of the Stihl AK System, it uses a 36V lithium-ion battery to deliver efficient lawn care without cables or exhaust emissions. This means you can move freely around your garden and tackle awkward corners with ease. With a 34cm working width, the RLA 240 combines excellent manoeuvrability with efficient performance. It also comes with two interchangeable attachments, allowing you to scarify your lawn or remove unwanted moss and thatch.

Two Attachments for Better Lawn Care – The Stihl RLA 240 gives you two ways to improve your lawn. The scarifying unit features robust, fixed blades that cut into the surface to help aerate the turf and remove built-up thatch. Alternatively, you can fit the spring tine roller to comb out moss, dead grass and other lawn debris without cutting into the turf. As a result, you can choose the right attachment for your lawn’s condition and the task at hand. Changing between the attachments is straightforward, so you can switch between scarifying and dethatching when needed.

Adjustable Working Depth – The RLA 240 features an infinitely adjustable working depth. This allows you to set the attachment to suit the condition of your lawn and the type of work required. The attachment height can be adjusted from 7.5mm above ground to 9.5mm below the ground surface. This means you can fine-tune the working depth for more controlled lawn maintenance.

Lightweight and Easy to Manoeuvre – The RLA 240 features a lightweight, robust polymer housing that helps protect the machine whilst keeping it easy to handle. Its smooth-running wheels provide good traction and directional stability, so you can guide the scarifier comfortably around corners and across your lawn. In addition, the integrated carrying handles make lifting and transport easier. The foldable handlebar also allows more compact storage when the machine is not in use.
