The HTA 66 operates quietly and produces low vibration. This means it is suitable for use in residential areas and other noise-sensitive locations. The low vibrations mean it is comfortable to use and it offers excellent balance making it easy to control when working at height.

Powerful Cordless Performance – The Stihl HTA 66 uses an efficient EC motor to deliver reliable cutting performance. Thanks to Stihl’s CONSTANT POWER, the tool maintains consistent power as the battery charge decreases. As a result, you can work efficiently without a noticeable drop in performance. The HTA 66 is recommended for use with the Stihl AP 200 P battery (not included), which provides a working time of around 54 minutes.

Clean and Precise Cutting – The HTA 66 features a ¼” PM3 saw chain. This low-vibration chain provides a clean and precise cut. This means the pole pruner is ideal for pruning branches, maintaining trees and cutting back growth in gardens and orchards. The precise cutting performance helps you complete each job with greater control.*

Lightweight and Well Balanced – The lightweight power head makes the HTA 66 easy to manoeuvre. Its balanced design also helps reduce the effort needed during use, with the battery’s centre of gravity helping to keep the tilting torque low. As a result, you can work for longer with less fatigue.

Simple and Safe Operation – Starting the HTA 66 is quick and straightforward. Release the locking switch and then use the trigger to start the tool. The ERGO lever allows continuous operation without repeatedly restarting the pole pruner. Meanwhile, the self-resetting locking switch helps prevent accidental activation. The controls also suit both left-handed and right-handed users.

Easy Maintenance – The HTA 66 features side-mounted chain tensioning for convenient adjustment. It also has a captive nut on the sprocket cover, which helps prevent the nut from being lost during maintenance. The efficient EC motor requires little maintenance and offers a long service life, making the HTA 66 provides a practical solution for regular grounds and garden maintenance.
